ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Patricia

- welcome to my world -

Hello! As I college student, I take any travel time I can take. Between rigorous course loads and walking to class in frigid cold weather I never cease dreaming about traveling long and far. Traveling to me means enjoying culture. I try and skip over hotels (price is usually the biggest factor) and stick to staying in places close to the locals, where I can get a true taste of the culture. I love exploring, walking aimlessly, taking pictures, tasting food, and enjoying the beautiful sights.

My family is Romanian so I am fortunate enough to be able to travel back and forth pretty frequently. I'm well accustomed to European culture and it's really more of my second home. I love the sentiment of it, the beautiful fluid languages of the west that flow as smoothly as the romance of the sunlight on the melancholy spirit of old villages. Or the harsher Slavic languages of the east, filled with history that you can see as you walk down the streets, communist buildings blemishing the landmarks, but the inner warmth shines through just as well. The north is sophisticated and prompt, with their cacophonous language, precise and direct. Beautiful architecture and sights to see. The flavor of culture, history touching every road you walk on, and new experiences lying around every corner, always leaving me wanting more.

Although I'm attaining an engineering degree, I have a passionate love for the arts. I love painting, studying French, graphic design, writing, reading, and of course photography. Follow me along my journey as an explorer and a lover of the arts.
