Turquoise Waters

Sardinia - a charming island off the coast of Italy. We stayed on the east side of the island bordering the gorgeous turquoise water of the Tyrrhenian Sea. More specifically, we stayed in a small town called Santa Maria Navarrese, where the old men sat at the cafe turned bar from morning to sundown playing their cards and smoking their cigarettes. Our airbnb was our own one room apartment and within five minutes walking, we were at the sea.
The water in Sardinia is among the most beautiful in the world, more beautiful than I have every seen. A blue expanse that even at great depth remains a shimmering turquoise.
